Ronald A. Spellman

Ronald A. Spellman died peacefully on March 20,2021 in Westhampton.   He was 
78 years old. 

Ronald was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, stationed in 
Springfield, MA and Thule, Greenland. 

After his service, he began 55-year career as a telecommunication operations 
manager, overseeing the installations of large phone systems. He worked on both 
private business and public municipality projects. 

Ronald and his wife of 60 years, Joyce raised their five children in Hampton Bays 
and watched their two grandchildren grow up. He enjoyed hunting with his, 
friends upstate and taking long drives in one of his other passions, Corvettes. 

He will be remembered as the most loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, 
brother and brother-in-law. 

Ronald leaves behind his wife Joyce, daughters Lori Pisaneschi (Tom) and Leanne, 
sons Tim (Lori) and Ryan. He also leaves his grandchildren, Tori King (Robbie) and 
Brett Pisaneschi, sister-in-law, Kathy Simack and his two beloved dogs, Sweetie 
and Tootsie. He was predeceased by his eldest son, Ronnie and brother Rich of 
Asheville, NC. 

 A Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 24h from 7:00-9:00pm at the

Scott-Rothwell Funeral Home located at 20 Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays, NY. 

A Prayer Service with military honors will be held in the funeral home at the conclusion of the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please consider the Southampton Animal 
Shelter.
