Ronald Loveland Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Edward Loveland, a man who touched the lives of so many during his time on this earth. He was a devout Christian who lived a life of service, dedicating himself to his faith, family, and community.

Ron was born in Bristol, CT on January 17th 1955 to Robert and Eleanor Loveland. He is survived by his wife Victoria, whom he was married to for 45 years, and his children Jason, Justin, Benjamin, and Sarah Loveland Meyer. Ron is also survived by his father Bob, his brothers Ed, Jack and Ken.

From a young age, he demonstrated a strong work ethic, which he carried with him throughout his life. He was known for his unwavering dedication to his family, and his love and devotion to his wife. Ronald Loveland was a loving father to his 4 children, always providing for them and instilling in them the values of hard work and kindness. He was also a doting grandfather to his 11 grandchildren, who brought him great joy and pride. He will be remembered as a playful and energetic “Grampy/Papa/Boppop”.

Ron, an engineer and West Point graduate, with an MBA from Rensselaer, was well-respected in the community, and ran a successful manufacturing consultancy, Summit Safety and Efficiency Solutions. He was a respected business leader on Long Island, a thought leader in the manufacturing space, a mentor to many and a beacon for kindness & fairness in business. He relentlessly educated young people about opportunities in manufacturing on Long Island by working with schools & community organizations. He volunteered his time and resources to those in need, whether it was through his church, local charities, or simply lending a helping hand to a neighbor.

Above all, Ron was a man of faith and belief in God, which was evident in his actions and words, and he served as an inspiration to all who knew him.

Although Ron is no longer with us, his legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched. His unwavering commitment to his faith, family, and community served as a testament to the impact that one person can have on the world. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will continue to inspire us to live our lives with the same kindness, dedication, and love that he exemplified.
