Our hearts are broken — Rodger, loving husband to Linda for 62 years, father of Jennifer Hubbard Miller, Rodger Hubbard Jr., and Stephanie Hubbard Rempe, father-in-law to Dean Miller and Michael Rempe, and  Papa of six beautiful granddaughters, Lindsay Kestler, her husband, Frank Kestler, Cameron Miller, Hillary Hubbard, her husband, Kevin Strickland, Courtney Hubbard, Margaret Rempe, and Abigail Rempe. He adored them all, as well as his 3 great grandsons whom he got such joy from.
Rodger lived on Newtown Rd. in Hampton Bays his entire life and had great pride in knowing that his family would remain there. 
Rodger retired after 37 years at Brookhaven National Lab to enjoy his favorite sport, fishing, in his bays and his ocean. He truly loved where he lived, and so we would request that if you wish to make a donation in Rodger’s name that you donate to one of Hampton Bays own organizations: such as Hampton Bays Ambulance, Hampton Bays Beautification, Hampton Bays Library, Hampton Bays Fire Department, or your your personal choice. 
We forever miss him. Our hearts are broken.
