Robert Kurt Grigo

Robert Kurt Grigo passed away on December 18, 2020 at the age of 76. Born on June 24, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY, Bob grew up in Glendale, Queens, where he took an interest in the art of woodworking and cabinetry, honing his skills and running the family’s cabinet business. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. A longtime summer resident of Hampton Bays, Bob and his family became full-time residents of the East End in 1990, settling in Southampton. There, Bob took over Central Kitchens Corp, continuing the artisanal family trade in the Hamptons. A member of the Southampton Elks Club, Bob was active in the community and could often be found either at the shop, on a job, or enjoying time on the water.

Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doreen, his three sons, Kurt (Kathy), William (Eylin) and James, and 8 grandchildren.
