Mary Beth O'Dwyer

Hampton Bays resident Mary Beth O’Dywer, passed away the morning of Tuesday, October 6th 2020 surrounded by her beloved family and pets. A public visitation will occur Friday, October 9th, 2020 at the Scott-Rothwell funeral parlor located at 20 Ponquoque avenue, Hampton Bays, NY. Her remains will be cremated following visitation hours. Mary Beth is survived by her two beloved sons Frank and Christopher O’Dwyer, her cherished sister Suzanne O’Dwyer, And Cherished greatly as daughter of Roy Bittel, just as important her most cherished brown labrador Buddy. She was a Sister to Gerald O’Dwyer and his wife Nancy O’Dwyer. Mary was preceded in death by her Mother Kathleen Bittel, and father Daniel O’Dwyer whom passed away in Ireland. Mary, while starting out life in Rockaway Beach, Queens New York, was an avid east ender who loved serving our community while working for the Hampton Bays Union Free School District. She loved the east ends beaches and trails enjoying them for the last 30 years with her two sons and dog Buddy. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her for her witty sense of humor and beautiful disposition.
