Mark is survived by his wife Daryn, his children Alixandra McMahon of Bridgehampton, Courtney Sidor of Sag Harbor, and Lucas Sidor of East Quogue, his grandchildren Lawson and Waverly McMahon, his son in law Steven McMahon, and his siblings Lori Sidor of Sag Harbor and Patrick Sidor of East Quogue. He is predeceased by his parents Michael and Patricia Sidor of East Quogue.

Mark was born on September 2, 1963 in Riverhead, NY. He graduated from Westhampton Beach Senior High School in 1982 and then he went on to graduate from the Suffolk County Police Academy in 1985. He began his career as a part-time police officer and went on to become a court officer for the Town of Southampton. During his 36 years of service with the Town of Southampton he achieved the rank of senior court officer.

He married his wife Daryn of 27 years on September 6, 1992 at the Waterside in Sag Harbor. Their family grew to 3 children and has since welcomed 2 grandchildren.

He was a member of the East Quogue Fire Department for 35 years and was the Chief for the Department from 1994-1995.

Mark was a devoted father, loving husband, and a dotting grandfather. He had a passion for cooking but never shared his recipes. He was dedicated to the East Quogue Fire Department’s Annual Seafood Party. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent many warm days clamming in the Shinnecock Bay and afternoons in his backyard with his family. He will be remembered for always lending a hand to any friend in need.
