Linda H. Hubbard

            It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother, Linda H. Hubbard (Foster) on June 18th, 2023. Our hearts are broken.  Our mother lost her cherished husband, Rodger A. Hubbard on November 22nd, 2022.  She missed him dearly every minute of every day.  It gives us great comfort knowing they are together again watching over the entire family. 

            Linda was born on October 13th, 1941 in Rosedale, New York to Benjamin and Alvina Foster (Williams). She was the youngest of four daughters, Frances Mackey, Alice Comes, and Lorraine Goepfert.  Linda met  Rodger when she moved  with her family to Hampton Bays and attended high school.  They were married in September of 1960 and spent the next three years in Savannah, Georgia where Rodger was stationed in the Air Force.  They later built a house in Hampton Bays on Newtown Road where they raised three children, Jennifer Miller (married to Dean Miller), Rodger Hubbard Jr., and Stephanie Rempe (married to Michael Rempe).

            Linda worked various jobs throughout her life, however, her greatest accomplishment was nurturing, caring for and teaching her children and six granddaughters, Lindsay Kestler (married to Frank Kestler and their three sons Frankie, Harrison, and Jameson), Hillary Hubbard (married to Kevin Strickland), Cameron Miller, Courtney Hubbard, Margaret Rempe, and Abigail Rempe.  Linda shared her love for baking, cooking and gardening with each of her grandaughters.  She will  be forever missed.
