Linda L. Hatcher

Linda L. Hatcher (nee Langsdorf), age 75, of Hampton Bays passed away on July 12, 2022. 

Linda was the first-born daughter of Terese Carter (Wouters) and Arthur Langsdorf, Jr. and was married to Robert Hatcher for 34 years before he passed away in March 2000.  She leaves behind her daughters, Ramona Kuroski (Robert), Robin Hatcher and Kaylee Wouters-Hatcher.

Linda had several interests including Bingo (she just won $100 a few weeks ago!), Disney, camping, NASCAR, bowling and church.  Linda was an active member of Christ Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Hampton Bays and enjoyed her time in bible study every Wednesday morning.  The one thing she loved doing more than anything else was talking about the “good old days” with her family and friends. She seemed to know everyone and was a great source for local information.

Linda leaves behind her wonderful sisters and brothers-in-law Terri Klager and Frank Mineo, Peggi and Kenneth Booth, and Georgi and Louis DePasquale.  She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Kathryn, Thomas and Megan Kuroski.  In addition, she leaves behind two beloved aunts, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

Linda was pre-deceased by her sister Elizabeth (Libby) Wouters who gave her the greatest gift of all, Kaylee.

Services to be held at Scott Rothwell Funeral home in Hampton Bays on Sunday, July 17th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.  The funeral will be held at Christ Our Saviour Lutheran Church on Monday, July 18th at 10:00am.  Burial to follow immediately at Good Ground Cemetery.
