Gregg A. Van Scoy

Gregg A. Van Scoy. of Hampton Bays and Albany died on May 5, 2023. He was 64. 

He was born on October 2, 1958, at Southampton Hospital to David G. Van Scoy, Sr. 
and Diane C. Van Scoy. He had one brother, David (pre-deceased) and one sister, 
Robin Harris, all of Hampton Bays. 

After Graduating from Hampton Bays High School, Gregg moved to New York City 
and worked as a hair designer and as a chef at Tavern on the Green. 

Later in life Gregg moved to Albany. He loved the sun and the beach, but his special 
passion was collecting art. Gregg would especially love to come back down to 
Hampton Bays for his vacation. 

Gregg was pre-deceased by his mother, Diane C. Van Scoy, and his brother, David. 
He is survived by his father, David, Sr., sister, Robin Harris, and many uncles, aunts, 
nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Gregg will be deeply missed by his family, friends and his Albany community.                                     

Services were held 10:00 AM at the Scott-Rothwell Funeral Home in 
Hampton Bays followed by interment at Good Ground Cemetery.
