George James Lind, 82, of Long Island NY. died Sunday May 1st, 2022. George Lind, son of John and Frances Lind, loving husband of Judith Lind, passed away early morning on May 1st peacefully at his home in Long Island, NY. He is survived by his wife Judith, and his two loving sons John and Theodore. He is also survived by three adoring grandchildren who will miss him dearly. George, a proud Aerospace Engineer migrated his skills to co-found one of the first companies to develop an early detection melanoma system, wind velocity measurement tools for airports, and worked with NASA on many exciting projects. George was a humble and caring man who loved swimming, road trips, John Wayne movies, Jack Reacher books, Italian food and especially Ice Cream. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Services will be held on Saturday May 28th at Church of St. Rosalie's in Hampton Bays NY. at 1pm.
