Barbara Ann Schumpf, 1939 -2023
Barbara Schumpf passed peacefully on January 5, 2023. Born in Typo, Kentucky on May 18, 1939. She was the daughter of Raleigh Coomer and Lela C. Gabbard. Wife of the late Arthur C. Schumpf Sr. Loving mother to Edward, Arthur, Keith, Cynthia and Laura. Cherished sister to James, Glen and Richard. She had thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, January 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Scott-Rothwell Funeral Home located at 20 Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays, New York 11946. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, January 11th at 10:00 AM at Westhampton United Methodist Church located at 116 Montauk Highway Westhampton, NY 11977. A Burial with military honors will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
