Arlene S. Primavera, of Hampton Bays, NY, passed on Friday August 12 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family and loved ones. Arlene graduated from HBHS and attended LIU for Music Education. She received her Master’s in Special Education from CW Post. Arlene spread her passion for music to all of her friends and family, especially her students at East Moriches school District.
Her talent for education stretched beyond the school walls as she taught piano and voice lessons from her home and led knitting classes in two local libraries - further expanding her web of influence to the friends she made there.
Arlene is predeceased by husband Louis J. Primavera and brother Daniel Squires. She was survived by siblings Theresa Fredette, Ellis Squires, Louise Miller, Michael Squires; and children Vincent, Carlo, and Dorothea Primavera.
There are few souls that Arlene met that weren’t smitten by her larger than life personality and capacity for love and fun. She truly aimed to find the joy everywhere - from dancing in the kitchen to enjoying a breeze by the bay. Her more recent love for painting kept her exploring new places and meeting new people. Her family and the community of Hampton Bays are deeply saddened by her loss, but are able to take solace and reflect on the positive impact she had on all of our lives.
May She rest in peace.
